Crookston Community Group runs a food delivery service, which takes emergency food boxes to people living in Glasgow. In the last period we received a high number of food delivery request from our partner organisations to help needy people. Our volunteer crisis team can manage every deliveries on time and at the moment we have enough food for the supported people. However, our door is always open for every donation.
The CCG crisis food delivery project is called Food on Wheels. It is about delivering foods to the most needy people at home, who are unable to visit the local foodbank. The project's name cames from the fact that our volunteer drives wheeled vehicles to deliver the food parcels.
