Sarwar Foundation's Toys for Eid Appeal Reaches Our Community

Thanks to the incredible success of The Sarwar Foundation’s Toys for Eid appeal, 120 children from our local community received a gift this Eid.

For our Eid al-Fitr celebrations this year, CCG held a party, open to all children aged between 5 and 15. Children enjoyed games, activities, and the company of their friends in the community as we joined together at sunset to observe Iftar and eat well. Each child then received a brand-new gift, courtesy of this appeal. This event was completely free of charge and helped to provide local families with some excitement in their Easter holidays. 

We would like to thank the Sarwar foundation and all their supporters sincerely for their wonderful generosity. With it, we have been able to ensure that dozens of the most vulnerable children of all faiths and denominations have something to look forward to at this special time of year.

With the continued support of organisations like The Sarwar Foundation, CCG works tirelessly to provide events like this for our young friends in the community.  School holidays can be a difficult time for families facing hardship, and CCG continues to help families to manage this pressure with free events like this, our Lunch Munch Club, and fun activities like our recent collaboration with The Orchard Project.
