Easter’s Lunch munch club: Nourishment, Fellowship, and Fun!

The Crookston Community Group's Lunch Munch Clubs for Children is a cherished project that brings nourishment, joy, and creativity to the young members of our community during every holiday season. Scheduled from April 1st to April 12th, 2024, this program aims to provide nutritious meals and a safe, engaging environment for children in the community. From 12 PM to 1 PM, kids gather to enjoy a wholesome lunch consisting of main course options like burgers, fries, donner kebab, or chicken biryani, accompanied by ice lollies, drinks, and a variety of fruits. Additionally, each child receives a breakfast parcel filled with essentials like milk, cereal, fruits, and snacks to take home. The program goes beyond nourishing their bodies; it nurtures their creativity with activities like drawing and painting before lunch, fostering a sense of community and belonging among participants. Through the Lunch Munch Clubs for Children, the Crookston Community Group not only addresses food insecurity but also cultivates a supportive environment where children can thrive physically, emotionally, and creatively.
