Food parcels ready to be delivered to homes in govan and one in pollokshaws road. The amount of referrals has increased over the last month or so and this is worrying as this is expected in the school holidays when families are under more pressure to make ends meet .
CCG provides a service throughout Glasgow for needy people where they can access emergency food relief and we are now also concentrating on food recycling so that surplus food is not sent to landfill but is donated to families that are struggling.
