Another Wednesday is upon us and the Food bank at Govanhill will be open to help those that need help. we open at 12pm at Govanhill baths. For anyone who would like to come down and volunteer please meet us in Calder Street on Wednesdays at 11:30am.
The number of people needing help has been increasing week on week. Nasreen Ali, chairperson of the Crookston Community Group said, "To increase the capacity of the CCG Govanhill Community Food Bank, the CCG asks for your help. The charity invites everyone to give a donation online through the JustGiving website or make a call for food and cloth donations." For more information about the donation options, please check out:
