Cooking with Sajida!


The lovely Sajida made beautiful Chicken Masala Wraps at our coffee morning last week! It's a great way to use some left over chicken that you might have! The recipe is included below. Happy cooking!

CHICKEN MASALA WRAPS

INGREDIENTS

1 kg chicken thigh boneless

1 onion (finally chopped)

1 tsp ginger garlic paste

1 fresh tomato chopped

1tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp chilli flakes

1 table spoon soya sauce

1 table spoon lemon

2 table spoon oil

½tsp garam masala powder

½ tsp cumin powder

4 table spoon pasta sauce

Packet of wraps

Sour cream

Fresh salad

½ cup grated cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS

In a big pot add oil and onions fry the onions until translucent then add ginger garlic paste fry for couple of

minutes then add salt, pepper, chilli flakes, cumin, garam masala, and chopped tomatoes cook about five

minutes on low heat. Add chicken (cut chicken in small pieces) in the pot cook on high heat when chicken is

sealed from all sides turn down the flame on medium when chicken is cooked no water left add soya sauce,

lemon juice and pasta sauce cook for further few minutes and turn off the heat.

Assemble the wraps: heat the wraps first put chicken then cheese some fresh salad and sour cream fold

them and serve with fresh salad.
