Meeting with Eddie Hawthorne

Today at the CCG we had a meeting with the Eddie Hawthorne the CEO of "Cash for kids" to tell him a bit more about what we do here at the CCG and what our plans are for the future.

During the meeting we explained more about our kids lunch club and all the trips out and adventures we have been able to take the kids on thanks to the huge amount of help and support from this amazing charity.

This remarkable charity has allowed us to help and bring joy to life's of so many children that Eddie him self said "they are our future.. its great that we can help so many children in need but it is a shame it is necessary."

As the meeting progressed our Suesane one of our staff members was talking about how we were struggling to get a second van and out of the blue Eddie said he would give us a van.

This act of kindness brought one of our volunteers to tears which just shows a simple act of kindness can make a huge difference to peoples life's

Here at the CCG we would like to give a massive thanks to Eddie for taking time out of his busy schedule to come, speak to us and for being so generous. We would also like to thank the rest of the "Cash for kids" team for your amazing life changing work, being a pleasure to work with and we look forward to working with you in the future.
