Crookston Community Group Now Tackle Energy Poverty
The Crookston Community Group is now working with Home Energy Scotland. Our goal is to help the people of our local communities make sure they can heat their homes.
Food poverty isn't the only form of poverty on the increase, Energy poverty is also dramatically increasing.
This is why we have teamed up with Home Energy Scotland to help tackle this rising issue.
Home Energy Scotland is a government funded programme that's goal is to help people in Scotland create warmer homes, reduce their bills and help tackle climate change. They do this by offering free, impartial advice on energy saving, keeping warm at home, renewable energy, greener travel, cutting water waste and more.
The CCG team had a free training course about everything to do with energy poverty and gave the team some tricks and tips on how to heat your home more effectively.
We are looking forward to working with Home Energy Scotland and together hopefully we can help our local communities stay warmer this winter.
