At Cook n Dine class, the ladies have made "Bake Potato and Supreme Chicken".
Food used from Foodshare and extra ingredients bought at the supermarket, to prepare a healthy meal for people at the cook n dine classes to cook at home for their family. Debbie Maria assisting Sajida by showing how to cooking and prepare this scrumptious meal.
The cook n dine classes are to show folks of how to cook and prepare easy healthy meals for themselves and their family, with just the food in your cupboards and fridges. For this will teach people who can't cook but to also help stop food waste in our country.
1.9 million tonnes of food is wasted by the food industry every year in the UK. But 250,000 tonnes of the food that goes to waste each year is still edible.
That's enough for 650 million meals to go out to people who are in poverty!
