Fareshare Foodshare!

Here is this week Foodshare, CCG would like to thank fair share for teaming up with CCG to tackle the growing problem that is food wastage. 1.9 million tonnes of food is wasted by the food industry every year in the UK which Fareshare attempts to prevent, 250,000 tonnes of the food that goes to waste each year is still edible. So much food is unnecessarily being wasted when it could go to a better cause. Fareshare were very generous and gave us a vast amount of food to distribute out to several families.
