"We are working together with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde to increase Coivd-19 testing in areas of the city affected by rise in cases. Please take a test even if you have no symptoms and help us to stop the spread. If your postcode is G41 or G42, please look out for Lateral Flow kits popping through your letterboxes. If you live in Pollokshields, we're visiting door-to-door along with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and other partners to offer PCR tests to residents & to answer any questions you have. The teams will be made up by staff and volunteers from a range of bodies led by Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership staff.
If you need help self-isolating, please phone the Glasgow Helps phone line on 0141 276 1185 (free phone = 0800 111 4000). If you test negative, please take another test in a few days.
There are 3 mobile testing units on the Southside:
Car Park by Govanhill Test Centre, 205 Calder St. G42 7DR - 10am-5pm
Glasgow Central Mosque, G5 9TA - 12pm-5pm
Overflow Car Park, Barrland Street, G41 2PE - 10am-5pm
You can collect these test kits from these locations but to book a test - www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test
