The new oven will allow us to feed hungry people and also teach them how to create delicious pizzas from left overs to make new topping combinations and help reduce food waste. The kids in the class gave our new oven a big thumbs up! #Carriersforcauses #BigLotteryFund #COOP

I don’t think it is fair for some people to live an amazing life with everything they want and need, and some people worry that they won’t have a bed for the night or when they will have their next meal. I would open more food banks and hope that more people wo

How Scotland has food waste all wrapped up
Doggy bags are a touch taboo. Whispering to a waiter you’d like that forty quid fillet steak wrapped up in tin foil feels a bit a bit cheap. Most of us prefer to go without than risk looking tacky as we sidle out of a restaurant, brown paper bag under one arm. Confronted with the news that 53,500 tonnes of food is wasted by Scottish restaurants each year, two thirds of which could’ve been avoided, more than 100 restaurants have now signed up to the government’s Good to Go sch
